Installation and Commissioning
When installing the vibrating screen, it is crucial to choose a horizontal, solid and smooth foundation. This foundation not only needs to have enough bearing capacity to stably support the vibrating screen and the various dynamic loads generated by its work, but also needs to maintain its stability in the long-term use process to prevent equipment operation failure caused by foundation sinking or deformation. The construction quality of the foundation should be strictly controlled, using high-quality concrete and ensuring its adequate maintenance to achieve the required strength and durability.
The installation process requires a high degree of precision and rigour. The connection of various components, including screen frames, motors, springs, etc., should be carried out in strict accordance with the detailed installation instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer. During the connection process, use the appropriate tools and fastening methods to ensure that each connection point is firm and reliable, without any signs of looseness. For critical connection parts, such as the connection between the screen frame and the base, high-strength bolts should be used and tightened according to the specified torque.
The debugging session is the prelude to the normal operation of the equipment. Firstly, the steering of the motor is carefully checked to ensure that it is in the same direction as that marked on the equipment. Wrong steering may cause the equipment to fail to start properly, and may even cause serious damage to the motor and transmission components. When adjusting the vibration frequency and amplitude, the physical characteristics of the material, such as particle size, humidity, viscosity, etc., as well as the specific screening requirements, such as screening accuracy, processing capacity, etc., should be fully considered. Through precise adjustment, find the most suitable vibration parameters for the current material and production requirements, in order to achieve the best screening effect.
At the same time, the tension of the screen mesh is also an important part of the debugging. Too loose screen mesh will lead to irregular movement of materials on the screen surface, affecting the precision and efficiency of screening; too tight screen mesh will increase the tension of the screen mesh and shorten its service life. Use professional tools and methods to measure and adjust the tension of the screen mesh, so that it can ensure the screening effect while maximising the service life of the screen mesh.
Operation specification
Before starting the vibrating screen, a comprehensive and detailed inspection is an essential step. In addition to checking whether there are debris, lumps or other obstacles on the screen surface, it should also check whether the inlet and outlet are unobstructed to ensure that the material can pass through the equipment smoothly. At the same time, check the lubrication system and electrical system of the equipment to ensure that they are in normal working condition.
When starting, firmly follow the principle of starting with no load first, and let the equipment run for a period of time without load. This helps to observe the initial operating state of the equipment, including the smoothness of vibration, the normalcy of sound, the change of temperature, and so on. Only after the equipment is running stably with no load and all the indexes are within the normal range, can the material be added gradually and evenly.
In the process of adding materials, it is crucial to maintain the uniformity and the right amount of materials to be put in. The use of appropriate feeding equipment and methods, such as quantitative feeder, conveyor belt, etc., can effectively control the feed rate and flow of materials. Avoid the sudden large influx of materials to prevent the screen surface from material accumulation and inadequate screening. According to the characteristics of the material and the processing capacity of the equipment, reasonably adjust the feeding speed to ensure the continuity and stability of the screening process.
During operation, the operator should always be vigilant and pay close attention to the operating status of the equipment. Listen to the sound emitted when the equipment is running, under normal circumstances, the sound should be smooth, even, no abnormal impact or friction sound. Observe the vibration of the equipment, the vibration should be smooth and regular, without abnormal violent vibration or shaking. At the same time, monitor the temperature of the key components of the equipment, such as the motor, bearings, etc., by means of temperature sensors or touching, to ensure that their temperatures are within the normal operating range.
Once the equipment is found to have abnormal vibration, abnormal noise, high temperature or other abnormalities, it should be stopped immediately for inspection. Firstly, stop the supply of materials, and then cut off the power supply of the equipment, and carry out detailed troubleshooting after the equipment completely stops running. When finding the cause of the fault, it should start from the parts that are prone to problems, such as the breakage of the screen mesh, the loosening of the connecting parts, the failure of the motor or bearings, etc., and gradually go deeper and deeper until the root cause of the problem is determined, and timely and effective measures are taken to solve the problem.
Manutenção regular
Regular maintenance is one of the core measures to ensure the long-term stable operation of vibrating screen. As a key component directly involved in screening work, the screen mesh needs to be checked frequently for wear and damage. Due to the long time contact and friction with various materials, the screen mesh is prone to local wear and tear, holes, deformation or clogging and other problems. Regularly use professional tools and methods to carry out a comprehensive inspection of the screen mesh, not only to check the degree of wear and tear on the surface of the screen mesh, but also to check whether the warp and woof of the screen mesh are broken, deformed and so on. For the minor wear and tear found, it can be repaired or partially replaced; for serious breakage or deformation, the whole screen mesh should be replaced in time to ensure that the screening accuracy and efficiency are not affected.
As the power core and key supporting parts of vibrating screen, the lubrication of motor and bearing is directly related to the normal operation and service life of the equipment. Regularly check the lubrication condition of the motor and bearing, including the amount, colour and viscosity of the lubricant. Add or replace the lubricant in time according to the cycle and requirements specified by the equipment manufacturer. Choose the right brand and type of lubricant to ensure that it has good oxidation resistance, anti-wear and high temperature resistance, and can provide effective lubrication protection for the motor and bearings under the harsh working environment.
Connecting bolts are prone to loosening under the continuous vibration and dynamic load of the equipment. Periodically conduct a thorough inspection of all connection bolts, including the connection between the screen frame and the base, the connection between the motor and the base, and the connection between the spring and the bracket. Use tools such as torque spanners to tighten the bolts in accordance with the specified torque values to ensure that each bolt is in a tight state. For the bolts found to be loose or damaged, they should be replaced in time and necessary anti-loosening measures should be taken, such as the use of spring washers and double nuts.
Vulnerable parts such as seals, springs, belts, etc. are susceptible to wear and tear, aging and fatigue as a result of long-term work in a high-load, high-vibration environment. Regularly stock a certain number of commonly used wearing parts and establish a perfect inventory management system to ensure that they can be provided in time when they need to be replaced. Meanwhile, the replacement of wearing parts should follow the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and operating procedures to ensure the correctness and safety of the replacement process.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, timely and thorough cleaning of the residual material on the screen surface is an important part of maintaining the performance of the vibrating screen. The residual material will not only affect the accuracy and efficiency of the next screening, but also may clump on the screen surface, corrode the screen mesh, and even breed bacteria, affecting product quality. Use suitable tools, such as soft brush, high-pressure water gun, etc., to carefully clean the screen surface. For viscous material residues, you can use the appropriate cleaning agent to clean, but pay attention to the choice of cleaning agent should be avoided on the screen mesh and equipment damage.
The housing of the equipment also requires regular cleaning and maintenance. Use a clean rag or cleaner to wipe the surface of the shell to remove dust, oil and debris, and keep the appearance of the equipment neat. For equipment shells that have been exposed to harsh environments for a long time, they should also be treated with antirust and anticorrosion treatment, such as painting antirust paint, in order to extend the service life of the shell.
For vibrating screens that are not used for a long time, comprehensive and in-depth protection and maintenance work should be carried out. Before the equipment is stored, carry out a thorough cleaning, including the screen surface, internal channels, feed and discharge ports and other parts. Rust-proof key parts by applying rust-proof grease or using rust-proof packing materials. Cover the dust cover and choose materials that are breathable, waterproof and dustproof to ensure that the inside of the equipment is free from the intrusion of dust, moisture and other pollutants. During the storage period, regularly check the equipment to see whether the protective measures are effective, whether there is moisture, rust and other conditions, and take timely and appropriate measures to deal with them.
Regularly carry out comprehensive maintenance work on the equipment, including removing rust, spraying paint, checking the electrical wiring and so on. For the parts where rust appears on the surface, use rust removing tools and methods to remove rust thoroughly, and then paint anti-rust paint and surface paint in time to restore the appearance and protective performance of the equipment. Check whether the connection of electrical lines is firm, whether the wires are broken, whether the insulation is good, etc., to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the electrical system.
Safety Precautions
In the process of operating the vibrating screen, safeguarding the personal safety of the operator is the first task. Operators must wear personal protective equipment in strict accordance with the regulations, such as safety helmets that meet the standards, which can effectively resist the head injury caused by possible falling objects; wear earplugs with good sound insulation effect to reduce the hearing damage caused by the high decibel noise generated by the operation of the equipment; wear wear wear wear-resistant, cut-resistant gloves, to protect the hands from injury in the operation and maintenance process.
It is strictly prohibited to carry out any repair, maintenance or cleaning work while the equipment is running. When the equipment is running, all parts are in high-speed movement and vibration state, and operation at this time is very easy to cause mechanical injury, electric shock and other serious safety accidents. When the equipment needs repair, maintenance or cleaning, it must be in strict accordance with the shutdown procedures, first stop the supply of materials, and then cut off the power supply, until the equipment completely stops running, and to take reliable locking and labelling measures, before the relevant operations.
Set up obvious and eye-catching safety warning signs around the equipment, such as “no approach”, “be careful of electric shock”, “be careful of mechanical injury”, etc., to remind unrelated personnel to stay away from the working area of the equipment. For the area where people often pass by, guardrails or isolation zones can be set up to prevent people from accidentally entering the dangerous area.
Regularly conduct comprehensive and systematic safety training for operators to make them familiar with the structure and working principle of the equipment, master the correct operation methods and safety precautions, and understand the emergency treatment measures for common failures. Through training, improve the safety awareness and self-protection ability of the operators, so that they can consciously comply with the safety regulations in the work, and prevent accidents.
In short, the scientific use of vibrating screen needs to be comprehensively managed and finely operated from the precise control of installation and commissioning, strict compliance with operation specifications, careful implementation of regular maintenance, meticulous cleaning and maintenance, and resolute implementation of safety precautions and other dimensions. Only by being rigorous and meticulous in every aspect can we give full play to the performance advantages of the vibrating screen, ensure its efficient, stable and safe operation, prolong the service life of the equipment, provide a solid guarantee for the smooth progress of the production work, and create greater economic and social benefits.
