Working Principle

Vertical cuttings dryer works by centrifugal force principle. When the equipment is running, the drum rotates at high speed, driving the drill cuttings slurry into the drum to rotate together. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown out through the screen or filter medium on the wall of the drum, while the solid particles such as drill cuttings are retained in the drum, and finally the dried drill cuttings are discharged by the screw conveyor or scraper and other parts.
