Vertical Cuttings Dryer

Working Principle

Vertical cuttings dryer works by centrifugal force principle. When the equipment is running, the drum rotates at high speed, driving the drill cuttings slurry into the drum to rotate together. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown out through the screen or filter medium on the wall of the drum, while the solid particles such as drill cuttings are retained in the drum, and finally the dried drill cuttings are discharged by the screw conveyor or scraper and other parts.

• Efficient solid-liquid separation: it can quickly and effectively separate the drill cuttings from the liquid in the mud, so that the oil content or water content of the treated solid-phase drill cuttings is greatly reduced.
• Large processing capacity: it can process a large amount of mud drill cuttings to meet the needs of drilling operations of different scales, and it can adapt to high flow rate of mud input to ensure the continuity of the drilling process.

• Energy saving and environmental protection: By recovering the useful drilling fluid, it reduces mud emission and pollution to the environment, and also saves water resources and the cost of drilling fluid materials, which is in line with the trend of environmental protection requirements and energy saving and emission reduction.
• Convenient maintenance:The conical top cover is equipped with an observation port, which can be used at any time to check the wear and tear of the screen frame and spiral scraper.The structure of the equipment is relatively simple, some commonly used wear parts are easy to replace, and some parts of the equipment can be replaced from the top of the unit without moving the whole unit.
• Independent oil cooling system, equipped with scientific oil tank cooling system, to meet the use of high-temperature environment requirements.
• The discharge port can be equipped with a screw conveyor, which is convenient for the transport of dry drill chips and the continuous operation of the equipment.
